Traditional Local Drink
The most famous local drink in Madeira is Poncha, a potent, sweet cocktail made from sugar cane spirit (aguardente de cana), honey, sugar, and fresh lemon or orange juice. I wouldn’t say it was my favorite, but worth a try! -David
